F5 function key is used by our application but it refreshes the page

Hi

Our application uses the F5 (PF5) and Shift F5 (PF17).

Every time the user uses these keys the client page does a refresh. Is there any way of avoiding this?

Hi Sheldon,

I have a few questions for you. What browser are you using? What type of host system, 5250 or 3270? What command is F5 supposed to send.

By default HATS does not convert an F5 to a refresh, but rather, F5 is just passed along to the host. In both IE and Firefox, F5 triggers a page refresh, but the HATS application, if in focus, should process the F5, rather than the browser processing it using its own key mappings.

Yes its only when I use the browser in Lotus Expeditor. Wjen I use IE it works fine.
