Asynchronous Update Applet in Project Settings

*{font:Arial}{size:10pt}Actually we are
facing one issue which I wanted to discuss with you. We have one scenario in
Iseries that its screen gets refresh when some event gets triggered in iseries
but on the web browser we are not able to see that refreshed page. To see the
refreshed page, we need to press “Refresh” button of the browser.
{font}*

{font:Arial}{size:2}{font:Arial}{size:10pt} {size}

*{font:Arial}{size:10pt}We tried to use
that option available in Project Settings i.e. “Asynchronous Update” and we
enabled “Enable Applet” checkbox but it didn’t work for us.
{font}*

*{font:Arial}{size:2}{font:Arial}{size:10pt}Along with the
“Enable Applet” checkbox, there are three input fields “Host Name”, “Port
Number” and “Time to Disconnect”.
{size}*

Looking forward to see your prompt & response in this regard

Thanks.

Re: Asynchronous Update Applet in Project Settings

Hi

I had the same problem unrtill I installed a JRE on my workstation.

The applet refreshed the browser but lost the cursor. Ibm then told me to upgrade my JRE but our infrastructure guys stopped me going down that path. (They do not want to maintain another JRE on all our workstations).

In my case I am receiving partial screens because of slow response times on the mainframe. I opened a PMR at IBM requesting that the hats server only renders full screens.

Best Regards
