I can not save compile commands


I have big problem with Rdi 7.5. I modify compile commands or create a new one and I save the changes. After restarting the Rdi all the changes are lost.

Did somebody notice this bug ?

After you modify or create compile commands, do they work in that session of RDi? Are they only lost after restarting RDi?

The compile commands are stored in your workspace under \.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.rse.core\profiles\ somewhere. You should be able to see them there after they are modified (i.e. before you close RDi). See if they disappear after you close RDi or when you start RDi.

I am having the same problem in the opposite direction. I'm trying to remove custom compile commands. When I restartd RDi, they come back. Additionally, when I delete them, I see duplicate default compile commands in the compile menu drop down. For example, 2 CRTRPGMOD, 2 CRTSQLRPGI, 2 CRTBNDRPG, but only 1 of each exists in the work with compile commands dialog.

Yes, they work in that session, but if i restart Rdi, they ar lost.

I created a new compile command and it is working in the session. I checked the directory \.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.rse.core\profiles\. and this new compile command does not exist in this directory., so RDi does not save the changes I made to the workspace, that's why will be lost after restarting.

If I create a new profile, and create a new compile command in this profile, this is saved and does not disappear after restarting Rdi.

The first profile ( where the bug I noticed) is converted from a WDSC 7.0 profile, perhaps that is the reason of this problem.
