Introduction

This sample application shows how you can call various types of Web services (from CICS, IBM i, HATS, and EGL) from a rich user interface created with EGL. The application enables a user to perform a monthly mortgage payment calculation by supplying a loan amount, interest rate, and term. The results are shown to the user, and a pie chart displays the amount of principal and interest paid over the life of the loan.
