This is the place for RPG developers and IBM developers to mingle and discuss our favorite language. We'll talk about the language itself, its history, and its future. We will discuss the tools that support it and the directions they are taking. We hope this is a lively area of the Web.
This is a great place for all things related to RPG, to expound on proven techniques, to post interesting bits of code, and to act as a jumping off point into other areas of the IBM Web for support and information.
RPG has been around for some time but continues to evolve to meet new needs. IBM is investing in the compiler technology and tools for the RPG community. We will be using the Café to point to technology roadmaps, poll for new features in the tools, post tutorials on some of our favorite tips and techniques, and to host our new developer blog.
We will all be building the content of this site over time. Have a suggestion for links or information you'd like to see here? Visit our Cafe Feedback Forum and add to it. Perhaps a colleague or an IBMer will be able to fulfill it quickly.
The community is always changing. Visit those areas that interest you most, contribute ideas, join the discussion where you can, and check back often.
Again, welcome!
