Welcome RDz users! in RDz Team Blog

Posted by RDz_Dave Apr 15, 2009

Rational Developer for System z (RDz) is the premier development environment for COBOL, CICS, IMS, and System z in general. RDz provides specialized editors, code generators, analysis tools, testing tools, debuggers, and more for the COBOL developer in a environment that is easy to use and productive. RDz also allows you to take COBOL code you have today and turn it into an Enterprise or RESTful service without any code changes!

This is where we are going to be talking about new ideas that we have for tools coming from the IBM lab; the kinds of problems that RDz can help solve; questions we are hearing from our customers; as well as quick tips and tricks we have for using various RDz tools.

Hope that you take a look at RDz and keep your eye out for more posts.
