The Open Beta program will target users who are interested in deploying Rational C/C++ and COBOL development tools for AIX to evaluate code and provide feedback on their experiences. The Beta Forum will be monitored by the development team for your comments. Give the new beta code a try and let us know what you think on the Forum.
The new Rational product we are introducing is IBM Rational C/C++ and COBOL Development Tools for AIX. It's an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) where developers can remotely develop, compile, build and debug applications on Windows while their sources reside on AIX. This IDE supports both C/C++ and COBOL programs in a single IDE.
